Lighter – Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 October 2026

This policy explains what information the mobile game Lighter (in Greek: Αναπτήρας; "the game", "we") handles on Android and iOS. The game is published by NWBN. Contact: chris96skan@gmail.com.

1. Information stored on your device

Player names, the categories you choose, your settings (language, the 18+ and Extra Spicy switches, how many times a player gets the lighter before the round ends) and any categories and questions you write yourself are stored only on your device. There are no accounts, we do not run our own servers and we do not receive this data. Uninstalling the game deletes it. The game does not use your microphone, camera, contacts or precise location.

If you have turned on your phone's own backup (for example Google backup on Android), the phone may include this data in your personal backup and bring it back when you reinstall the game. That backup belongs to your own account; we cannot see it.

2. Questions you write yourself

You can add your own categories and questions. They are saved on your device only. They are never uploaded, shared with other players or seen by us.

3. Advertising

The game shows ads through Google AdMob. To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect information such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address (used to estimate an approximate location), device model and operating system, how you interact with ads, and diagnostic information. Google processes this under its own policy: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Ads appear as a banner during a game and as a full-screen ad between questions.

Your choices. In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland the game asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy settings. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in the system settings.

4. In-app purchases

A one-time purchase removes all ads. Payments are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store; we never see your payment details. The store only tells the game whether the purchase was made, so it can be restored.

5. Link to another game

On Android, players who have turned on the 18+ questions may see a suggestion for another game of ours, Truth Or Dare. It is a plain link that you can close. Nothing is sent when it is shown; tapping it opens the game's page on Google Play.

6. Children

The game is intended for players aged 16 and over and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The 18+ and Extra Spicy categories are switched off by default and open only after the player confirms they are 18 or older.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data and to object to its processing. Because we do not store your data ourselves, please use the privacy settings above or Google's controls. For any question, email chris96skan@gmail.com.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
